The role of Manager-CS & Logistics leads both Logistics & Customer Service for the Consumer Business in India.
The individual will spearhead the setting up and running logistic & warehousing operations across locations.
Key Relationships - Reports to Supply Chain Director, India - Direct Team: Customer service executives across regions in India & specific to channels (4 to 5)
Peers: Supply planning manager, Demand Planning manager, Purchase Manager, Plant Manager
Key Accountabilities -
The role-holder is responsible for:
- Identifying right vendors /partners, negotiating contracts as well as depot operation set up.
- Leading pan India Logistics operation (Primary & secondary) from Cost & Service level perspective.
- Managing Warehousing operation from cost service & compliance perspective
- Managing 3P operating our depots - Key deliverable
- Cost, service levels & compliance, statutory & all audits
Qualifications - Professional with MBA (Specialization in Logistics & Operation) with 7-10 years of experience of managing logistics function in FMCG/Consumer Durables MNC organization
- MBA preferred from a well reputed Institute
- Experience in setting up & running logistic & warehousing operations across locations in India is a mandatory
- This is a combined position for Logistics & CS, hence a right balance of experience in both is essential Skills
- Good Interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, situational leaderships are key requirements for this role
- Good stakeholder management
- Should be able to collaboratively work across functions / geographies (Regional/Global teams)
- Should have a continuous improvement mindset.
- Good communication is important
- Ability to deal with ambiguous challenges
- Ability to win with limited resources
