POSITION PURPOSE : The position will be responsible for overseeing and implementing the marketing automation campaigns across assigned countries. The Manager - CRM Marketing would be required to define and execute campaigns that help the business to build, grow and convert customer relationships through automated marketing campaigns, lead nurturing based on lead scoring at different stages of customer student lifecycle via the right messaging. A customer-centric, data-driven and code-savvy marketer with experience of operating multiple communication channels to drive improved conversions by creating exceptional user experiences Key Responsibilities : - Conceptualize CRM marketing campaigns, craft messaging & build relevant workflows by segmenting the user base appropriately to identify opportunity areas in the user's lifecycle. - Establishing a range of automated marketing campaigns based on various work flows - Map the customer journey and engage through various touch points thereby increasing conversions - Segmenting audiences and optimising campaigns to increase effectiveness - Carrying out A/B testing on automated marketing campaigns to maximise results - Ensure all platforms within the business communicate with each other - Implementing lead scoring practices to enable higher conversions from quality leads - Working collaboratively with different functions to ensure effectiveness of automated campaigns - Leverage data and analytics to understand user behaviour and transaction/query patterns. - Stays abreast of and recommends marketing best practices across the different communication channels. - Lead the reporting, monitoring, tracking for the different campaigns & also publish appropriate performance dashboards. Key Performance Area : Key Responsibilities : Measures : - E-mail Marketing Campaigns & Lead Nurturing - Plan, develop and execute student lifecycle campaign - Builds customer journeys and interactions across the customer lifecycle that drive engagement and sales conversions - Segment audience and optimise campaigns to increase effectiveness - Leverage data and analytics to understand the user behaviour and conversion at the different life stages. - Experience working with a marketing automation platform, including developing campaign / communications flows - E-mail, lead nurturing campaigns are designed and sent as per defined business objectives - Customer journeys and interactions across customer lifecycle drive higher engagement and sales conversions - Ensuring the database is segmented effectively for targeted marketing activities. Defining lead nurturing flows basis customer journey : - Understand and proactively analyse IDP's customer journey and stay on top of lead nurturing trends and developments to identify and leverage the most effective ways for marketing automation - Collaborate with key stakeholders to define best suited campaign workflows and ensure relevant and targeted communications reach out to our core audience / students - Customise customer journey basis different stages and have pre-defined workflows. The right message is sent to the right person at the right time - Communicate campaign results (at predefined intervals), both written and verbal, to key stakeholders with reports sharing actual outcomes vs. campaign KPI's and key learnings Driving great UX / UI / Analytics : - Conduct ongoing A/B testing related to subject lines, e-mail copy, layouts and CTAs that drives conversion improvements - Oversee and implement all lead scoring/grading processes and customer nurturing (single or multi touch) campaigns within the automation tool - Ensure cross-browser/e-mail compatibility through testing and software tools - Build testing frameworks (split testing, deliverability and tracking) for continuous optimization of click-through and conversion rates - Understanding of web UX/UI - A/B testing strategy help achieve desired conversions and defined future roadmap - Create simple campaign landing pages / communication & adhere to responsive html best practices - Share improvements in campaigns through adaptive learning from past campaign experiences - Testing plan follows defined schedule to continually improve performance Creativity & Innovation : - Think - out of the box- to identify new and innovative ideas to drive efficiencies in lead nurturing campaigns - Creating online content aligned to influence various customer personas as part of the marketing strategy - Creative content ideas and concepts to enable and support lead nurturing campaigns - Proactively identifies opportunities to improve the effectiveness of lead nurturing marketing campaigns, platform or processes from in-depth knowledge of campaign management - Strong evidence of innovation and creativity is displayed by leveraging key opportunities resulting in favourable outcomes - Establish internal best practices which can be shared with other automation teams - New ideas are shared with the supervisor Reporting : - Develop and provide periodic metrics and trends aligned to the business objectives - Monthly reporting to key stakeholders for standard KPI of marketing campaigns - Share fortnightly / monthly reporting dashboards to analyse campaign performances - Feedback on the performance related to the outputs of lead nurturing campaigns - Data integrity is high and reports created provide effective and reliable insight into marketing automation / e-mail lead nurturing campaign performance - Report dashboards track campaign effectiveness, prospect engagement, funnel advancement, scoring optimization, lead conversion and customer retention Internal External : - Head Marketing Automation (South Asia) - Country Director - Regional Web Marketing Team - In country Marketing Team - Destination & Sales / Op teams - IT - Global Marketing Automation team - Global Marketing Operations - Third Party Vendors and Agencies (if exists) - Any other important contact ADVANCE SKILLS Skills : - Experience of using Marketing Automation platforms required. SAP Hybris experience is a plus - Able to work with different business units and teams, often across multiple countries, to gather input and communicate findings and practices company-wide. Capable of successfully collaborating across teams and geographies - Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights. - Strong understanding and knowledge of e-mail best practices, innovation, and technologies - HTML knowledge and experience formatting e-mails (layout, images, links, etc.) - Knowledge of mobile response email templates and landing pages and best practices around the same (design and HTML both). - Proven track record of building lead nurture campaigns and driving successful lead conversion outcomes - Understanding of different type of e-mails - bulk emails, transitional emails, transactional mails, etc. PERSON SPECIFICATION : Essential requirements (skills, knowledge, experience & qualification) : - Educated to Graduate / Masters level or equivalent - Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience - Highly effective relationship building and relationship management skills - Analytical mind - ability to read, analyse and interpret information effectively - Must have a grasp for numbers and user segmentation - Fluent in English with excellent communication skills across all key methods - oral & written - Sound & Demonstrable IT skills - (Microsoft Office/Power point/Excel/Word/Access)
