Position Summary :
- To lead the development and execution of the Crisis Management program in India. The successful candidate will support Corporate Security with developing, implementing and maintaining a robust Crisis Management program, throughout the country, to ensure that, in the event of a crisis situation, Organisation is able to move quickly to protect its associates, customers, operations, brand and reputation. This position is based in India and reports to the Head of Travel Security & Risk Analysis.
Responsibilities :
- Execute on the Corporate Security vision, mission and goals as delegated by the Head of Travel Security & Risk Analysis.
- Lead the development of a robust Crisis Management program in India, which focuses on preparing all organisation assets to effectively manage a crisis situation and limit the overall impact on business.
- Maintain situation awareness of key global developments related to crisis management issues.
- Oversee regional and local crisis management plan and team development and associated reporting and procedures in preparation for a crisis.
- Construct a consistent process for responding to all crisis situations which allows for a streamlined transition to the business continuity team, once the crisis is resolved.
- Conduct training and tabletop exercises with regional and local crisis management teams and key stakeholder groups.
- Interface with senior managers on decision making efforts for special projects concerning crisis management issues.
- Advise senior managers and policymakers on planning, facilitation, and after action requirements that address crisis management matters.
- Drive awareness around crisis management to all associates within the region.
- Interface with Legal, Human Resources, Business Units, and Business Continuity personnel as required during the course of the job.
- Develop and maintain effective business relationships with Local/State/Federal law enforcement and emergency response government agencies.
- Utilize industry best practices to support organisation's Crisis Management mission.
Required Knowledge and Skills :
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven leadership skills with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communications.
- High level of information technology competency (MS Office and associated applications).
- Significant crisis management skills and experience.
- Experience in conducting physical security risk assessments.
- Knowledge of CCTV, access control systems and guard management.
- Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to build consensus among multiple constituencies and interact effectively at all levels.
Prior Work Experience :
- Minimum 10 years of security and/or Law Enforcement experience with a substantive blend of field and corporate / government experience. Ideal candidate brings functional local / regional law enforcement and intelligence contacts.
