They provide ratings in the financial sector, infrastructure sector, corporates, public finance, and MSME spaces. The company is headquartered in Mumbai and has regional offices at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, New Delhi, Pune and Mauritius.

Our client also carries out grading of IPOs, assesses financial strength of shipyards, grades various courses of Educational institutions and provides grading services to Energy service companies. They are nurturing global opportunities and have made forays in different forms with 4 partners from Brazil, Portugal, Malaysia and South Africa.

As the Manager, you will be understanding business model, financial statements, analyzing various risks based on quantitative & qualitative information

What you will do:

- Closely monitoring the performance of the companies and industries in the portfolio

- Doing plant visits and management meetings

- Writing ratings notes and making presentations before rating committees

- Interacting with the clients for providing required information to carry out the rating assignment

- Maintaining direct analytical responsibility for a portfolio of rated corporate issuers with the guidance of Group Heads

- Preparing schedule for completion of assignments in consultation with concerned Group Heads

- Preparing quarterly review notes based on quarterly performance and other updates

- Keeping track of changes in the economy, various sectors and analyzing the impact of the same on clients

- Preparing of rating rationales and press releases

- Ensuring ongoing surveillance and rating recommendations

- Repeating analytical contact with rated entities senior management, and presenting analytical findings to internal and external constituencies

Candidate Profile:

What you need to have:

- MBA (Fin.)/CA Additional qualification of CFA/FRM would be preferred

- Minimum 5 yrs years of Credit Rating experience

- Basic knowledge of financial accounting is a must

- Good oral and written communication skills

- Pro-active and self-motivated individual

- Strong Excel and analytical skills to collate and analyze a wide range of information

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Good organization skills and very high attention to details

- Good time management and prioritization; managing priorities while maintaining high standards; and to work in a team
