Job Description:

- As the Manager - Credit, you will be responsible for overseeing and analyzing the credit portfolio to ensure its health and performance.

- You will utilize various analytical tools and models to monitor portfolio quality, estimate credit losses, and provide strategic insights to enhance credit management practices.

- Your role will involve in-depth analysis, reporting, and data management to support decision-making and optimize portfolio performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Portfolio Analysis & Monitoring:

Conduct comprehensive analysis of the credit portfolio using lead and lagged indicators to assess performance and risk.

- Provide a 360-degree view of the portfolio by evaluating all relevant aspects, including credit quality, trends, and risk factors.

Credit Loss Estimates:

- Utilize Markov Chain models to estimate potential credit losses and assess the impact on the portfolio.

- Prepare and update loss projections based on model outputs and market conditions.

Loss Budget vs.

Actual Comparison:

- Perform detailed comparisons of budgeted losses versus actual losses.

- Analyze variances and provide actionable insights to address discrepancies and improve forecasting accuracy.

ECL (Expected Credit Loss) Working and Projection:

- Develop and maintain ECL calculations in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

- Project future ECL based on current portfolio performance and economic indicators.

Adhoc Data Analysis:

- Support various ad-hoc data analysis requests related to portfolio metrics and performance.

- Provide deep-dive analyses to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities within the portfolio.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

- Track and enhance key performance indicators related to credit losses and portfolio quality.

- Develop strategies to improve KPIs and overall portfolio performance.

SQL Database Management:

- Create and maintain a comprehensive SQL database of the credit portfolio.

- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility for reporting and analysis purposes.

Presentation Preparation:

- Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations for various reviews and stakeholder meetings.

- Clearly communicate insights and recommendations based on portfolio analysis.

Portfolio Trigger Data Publication:

- Publish trigger data for special programs and schemes, highlighting key insights and implications for portfolio management.

Report Creation & Enhancement:

- Develop new reports and dashboards to provide better understanding and insights into portfolio health.

- Continuously refine reporting tools to meet evolving analytical needs and improve decision-making.

Qualifications:

- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.

- A Master's degree or relevant certification (e. , CFA, CPA) is preferred.

- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in credit analysis, portfolio management, or a related field.

- Proven experience with credit loss modeling and portfolio analysis.

- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL and database management.

- Experience with Markov Chain models and other credit risk modeling techniques is essential.

- Advanced skills in MS Excel, and familiarity with data visualization tools (e. , Power BI, Tableau) are beneficial.

- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.

- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively to stakeholders.

- Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.

- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and address issues proactively, providing practical solutions to improve portfolio performance
