Manager - Credit Division - BFS

- The Risk Management Group is an independent, centralised unit responsible for assessing and monitoring risks across

- This includes market and liquidity risk, credit risk, compliance risk and operational risk. Risk Management Group personnel liaise closely with all operating areas to ensure risks are understood and properly managed.

- RMG Credit assesses the credit risk on lending and trading transactions. It allocates credit limits for counter parties and countries, develops procedures for measuring credit exposures and reviews the adequacy of legal documentation.

- This position is a Manager level role within the Credit Risk division that is responsible to independently identify, assess and determine acceptability of the risk of loss arising from credit and equity exposures on a risk/return basis. 

- Candidate will be part of the Credit Data Integrity team and will be required to ensure data quality, controls and accurate feeds/reporting to downstream processes and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Gain and maintain a full understanding of businesses, data processes and systems to support analysis and reporting

- Ownership of Credit data integrity through validation processes

- Enforce operational policies and establish/monitor controls to challenge analysts

- Develop new data validations and conduct sample testing/reconciliations

- Involvement in large projects to drive changes to how we maintain our data

- Improve, develop and automate current data and reporting processes through new tools

- Strong planning and stakeholders engagement skills to ensure timely research, review and analysis of data and publish associated reports

- Documentation of testing and analysis, findings and recommendations

- Lead a team of 6-8 analysts across data, operations and reporting streamlines
