Looking for a Cost Accountant for a well reputed US multinational into Automotive industry

Title: Cost accountant

Experience: 8-12 years

Brief of the Role:

1. Complete analysis / review of the existing product costing at each plant.

2. Set up a complete product costing system at each plant with full absorption of labour and overheads to throw product wise profit at PBT level. In the long run, explore this possibility thru Mfg/Pro, the ERP.

3. Analyse the volume / product / mix variance for taking corrective action.

4. Based on above, set up a system of generating costing profitability at plant level and reconcile with financial profit as per books of accounts.

5. Monthly financial Closing , forecasting activity for the plant.

6. Understand the production flow and compute the cost of product at each work station.

7. Assist the plant people in determining the cycle time and the production norms of labour and overhead absorption.

8. Monitor the raw material consumption and raise a flag whenever necessary.

9. Monitor the input-output ratio of raw material and the scrap generation to report any deviation from the norms.
