Responsibilities :
- Development of overall strategic plan, with a focus on growth, including oversight of customer and market analysis and other fact base development to drive to recommendations to senior management
- Support of Market Development and Sales teams in developing their strategies by providing a framework for identifying issues, questions and solutions
- Coordinate with Central Strategic and Corporate Development function to support global strategic initiatives
- Evaluation of specific new business growth opportunities or strategic issue assessments.
- Oversight of market intelligence activities to inform ongoing strategic planning, including market and competitor tracking on a continuous basis
- Thought leadership on key strategic issues, answers discrete business problems with a focus on high-value issues and challenges thought process when appropriate
- Drafts key materials and presentations for senior executive team
- Provide qualitative and quantitative research used to evaluate market conditions and new geography initiatives.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Candidate must have prior experience in Strategy or Market research domain.
- Detailed understanding of manufacturing sectors including Cement, power or infra.
- Experience with research and analytical tools.
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel and Access required
- Project Management skills including the ability to coordinate activities among various departments and work independently to meet timelines-
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Understanding of available data sources for competitive intelligence gathering
- Numerate, analytical, high attention to detail, able to prioritize
