Position: Manager Corporate Strategy
Client: Top Leading Manufacturing MNC
Education: MBA from top institutes.
Has to develop a Long Term Strategy (LTS) for all its businesses. The implementation of the strategy will be led by Business Units (BU) supported by the Corporate Strategy team headed by the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO).
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic: Strategy Development and Research
Strategy Development :
- Build business cases, pitches and investment proposals to drive strategic decisions
- Prepare appropriate tools, frameworks, concepts, processes and measures to support the strategy development and strategy execution
Research :
- Using primary (consultants, vendors, etc.) and secondary research, regular update market/customer trends and develop actionable insights that assist in strategic decision-making
Operational: Strategy Execution
Corporate :
- Prepare presentations and reports for several purposes such as informing stakeholders of LTS progress, sharing analysis results, investor presentations, board reviews etc.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders (Group/Corporate/BU) to facilitate LTS governance reviews
- Ensure any potential delays in execution are highlighted appropriately to resolve in a timely manner
Business Units :
- Work with BU to closely support the execution of key strategic initiatives
- Guide BU initiative teams in project planning implementation steps, timelines, resource requirement and target impact
- Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data, such as surveys, questionnaires, and opinion polls
- Conduct and coordinate financial, product, operational and related tasks to support strategic/business planning exercise for BUs
