Job Title: Manager, Corporate Strategy

Department: Corporate Planning & Strategy Area of Operation: Housing Finance

Location: Corp Office

Reporting to: Head, Corporate Planning & Strategy

Experience : Up to 5 years

Regular interface and networking with the senior management and other stakeholders to set the short term and long term business strategy of the company. Proficiency in applying broad strategic skill set to complex business problems across operational and process initiatives. Identify & manage improvement initiatives by co-coordinating with various functional teams for the implementation of the same

Job Summary:

Reporting to the corporate strategy head, the candidate will be responsible for the following key actionable:

- Contributing in setting the Company strategy based on market scanning and regulatory changes

- Facilitating the senior management in decision making through extensive and insightful business analysis

- Tracking industry trends, competitor benchmarking, delivering periodic reports and presentations on the company and industry

- Responsible for result oriented research deliveries in diverse management areas to facilitate strategy building / creation (e.g. market & industry research, market entry strategy, policy research etc)

- Planning, budgeting and forecasting across various business functions

- Variance analysis with respect to the budgetary expectations

- Performance tracking at an Employee level / Branch level / Zonal level and Head Office level

- Preparing and presenting the review packs to the senior management and functional heads to give an insight into the company performance on various business parameters

- Identification, evaluation & development of business plans for new offerings

- Participating in operational improvement initiatives

- Responsible for design and quality of internal deliverables

- Preparation of annual budget for the Company incorporating expectations from the senior management

- Set the expectations for various business parameters in the budgeting process against which the performance would be benchmarked

2. Manpower Planning

- Planning and allocating the manpower across the business functions at the branch, zonal and corporate office level

- Forecast the manpower requirement across the business functions as per the expected business across the locations

3. Performance Review and Monitoring

- Preparation of monthly / quarterly / annual performance review packs for the senior management delineating the performance against budgetary expectations, productivity levels, cost coverage and NPA levels

4. Annual Business Plans

- Development of annual business plan with detailed forecasting of the P&L and balance sheet

- Facilitate the decision making process for the senior management with respect to asset and liability side of the business

5. Operational Improvement Initiatives

- Operational improvement initiatives across the business functions by closely interacting with the senior management and performing in depth market research studying the industry trend and the best practices of the competitors

6. Market Scanning and Industry Research

- Analyzing the market environment & regulatory changes, keeping an eye on various policy updates and the impact of the same on the business, primary & secondary research

Behavioral Technical:
