We are currently looking for a CORPORATE & MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER for one of the leading Pharmaceuticals MNC in India.

Candidate Profile Required :

- MBA only from a good B School

- 4 - 6 years of hands on experience in Corporate, Marketing Communications and Public Relations.

- Exposure to Media Relations, Internal Media and Communication, Crisis and issues management, Change Communications, marketing communications will be an advantage.

Job Profile :

Planning of Media relation activities :

- Secure a strategic approach to the media relations work by preparing an annual communication plan outlining the planned media relations activities linked to The company India's business plan and key corporate objectives.

- Plan for maximum media mileage for corporate projects (like WDD, Dawn2 etc.)

- Plan and work to derive maximum PR mileage from the participation of The company India in various national/ international conferences, internal & external events.

- Coordinate with media (radio, print and TV) to ensure coverage for articles

- Plan and work with the Brand managers to maximize the opportunities for product related PR Plan and work to derive maximum PR mileage during new product launched

- Drive participation of The company India in various national/ international conferences, events organized by NN execute communication plans to profile senior management

- Go through the scientific write ups to find the right platform that will resonate with media and write interesting press releases/features Write press releases and coordinate with agency for media invitations, media kits etc.

- Drive agency and monitor their KPI's and follow up consistently to get maximum coverage for the company

- Manage senior management visits to India from time to time and garner media visibility

Contact with media :

- Organize for and co-ordinate media contacts and advice spokespeople on matters related to media contacts

- Organise international media visits and maintain relationship with senior editors to drive positive stories for NNIPL

Compliance with Regulations and Codes of Conduct :

- Ensure that The company India's media materials, e.g. press releases, comply with all relevant regulations and codes before they are issued

Compliance with VI (Visual Identity)

- Ensure adherence to corporate VI by taking on the role of VI person and approving in writing via mail or by using the template in the Brand Manual.

Media Training :

- Regularly train managers and employees, who serve as spokespeople for The company India

Monitor & evaluate media coverage :

- Establish and use a system for regularly monitoring and evaluating the quantity and quality of the articles in which The company has been mentioned.

Crisis Management :

- Create and regularly update the crisis management plan and coordinate the communication during crises locally and with the international marketing team.

Public Relations agency management :

- Hire and guide the PR agency to secure a strategic approach to the media relations work linked to The company India's business plan and key corporate objectives.

Website management :

- Enhance the company's efficiency and effectiveness in messaging through ongoing updation and improvement of the external website

Internal communication :

- In coordination with the HR department strive to improve the communication at various level within the organisation towards maximising motivation and business results

- Live up to the communication Policy laid out in The company Way of Management

- Drive, ideate and produce employee magazine iPeople

- Work on revamping the intranet Globesharepage and create content for letters to employees from management team - promotion letters, awards and regularly update the intranet

- Own the CVI (Corporate Visual Identity) and ensure adherence to the same across the company

Patient education :

- Create innovative content that is clear, simple and patient friendly. Developing collaterals and leaflets for patient education

- Drive complete planning, approval, print and dispatch of patient/doctor communication material Prerana on quarterly basis

Stakeholder Communication Material :

- Extensively write articles/features on different aspects of diabetes for magazines

- Engage with ad agency to deliver best quality output that meets the brief

- Ensure all communication material is handled in a cost effective manner

Others :

Coordinate closely with Head communication for national, regional and international meets that meet company objectives

- Work on special projects that may be driven by communications team from time to time

- Maintain clear track of coverage across India

- Ensure payments to associates and vendors are on track

- Maintain all records for communication team as per SOP Act in line with ethical standards, company procedures and The company Way of Management which includes Vision, Policies and Charter which describes our Values, Commitments and Fundamentals.

- Ensure and maintain customer focus

- Ensure cost control and effectiveness in the corporate communication function
