Manager (Corporate Insurance)
- The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee and manage certain aspects of the risk financing and insurance programs for the Company.
- Overall review and finalisation of the insurance portfolio for the company owned assets starting and responsible for all insurance related matter starting from collection of data from various circles, placement of policy, intimation of claims, arrangement of survey of the sites, submission of claims documents, settlement of claims and support to finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external customers for insurance and risk management related needs or inquiries
- Support development and execution of insurance and risk management strategies related to the design, negotiation and implementation of certain insurance programs for the Organisation globally
- Assist in the identification of risk within the organization and support the business in the determining appropriate risk financing alternatives
- Support, and in certain cases lead, the annual insurance renewal process including the collection of exposure data and review of terms and conditions
- Review contracts and other agreements to determine alignment and compliance with the company's risk appetite and insurance programs
- Oversee and manage claims emanating from the company's operations and evaluate coverage applicability
- Work with Co's insurance broker(s) to determine insurance and risk financing program design and needs, globally
- Support preparation and management of the annual insurance budget.
Qualification And Experience:
1. CA or CWA or Insurance Management or equivalent education with Minimum 3+ Years of Experience in the Insurance Domain with a Large Industrial Conglomerate having turnover Rs. 5000 Crores plus.
2. Ability to work in a fast paced environment
3. Proven ability to apply insurance and risk management techniques in the identification, assessment, measurement, mitigation and monitoring of exposures that may threaten the organization
4. Demonstrated ability to understand business drivers and develop goals and strategies accordingly
5. Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of an organization and outside company boundaries
6. Proven track record in negotiating, diplomacy and communications skills in furtherance of business goals
7. Proven track record in providing consultative services to internal and external stakeholders
8. Experienced team leader as well as an effective team member, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects
9. Demonstrated financial/fiscal responsibility including budget management and analytical capability
10. Thorough understanding and working knowledge of the domestic and foreign insurance programs and markets
