- Lead the annual fundraising planning process to produce effective strategies to achieve income targets across a range of revenue streams
- In cooperation with the management team, assist in creation of the strategy for fundraising activities and building a diverse portfolio with clear short, medium and long-term objectives
- Lead the end-to-end fundraising / grant process - undertake research, identify new donors (national + international), develop the fundraising pitch, meet potential donors, write proposals, undertake documentation, creation of impact reports
- Collaborate with program teams in preparation of technical proposal notes by drafting concept notes and proposals (including project objectives, approach and methodology, outcomes, workplan, staffing, budget, MEL and other requirements)
- Research and apply for grant opportunities by establishing a systematic process for partner outreach and relationship management
- Undertake donor management and reporting - coordinate with internal teams for data and insights, track and write donor reports, send regular updates to donors, facilitate field visits
- Coordinate with the CFO's team to manage all grant and donor-related compliances and regulatory requirements
- Manage funder relationships in coordination with and in support of the CEO and Founders
- Working closely with management team to produce cost-effective budgets, develop and maintain income and expenditure tracking systems
- Coming up with ingenious ways to raise awareness and raise the profile of the Foundation
