- Overseeing the development and evaluation of various engagements, which may involve financial modeling, valuation analysis detailed financial and commercial due diligence, data & analytics, credit and debt capacity analysis, and preparation of information memoranda, term sheets, and other documentation and reports for external consumption .
- Working in various sectors including financial services, infrastructure public sector and tourism & hospitality.
- Acting as a project manager for the duration of engagements, acting as key contact for the client, attending client meetings, leading particular sections of work and coordinating the work of junior staff.
- Assisting in new business development including the preparation and presentation of proposals.
- Negotiating alongside clients on transactions.
- Ensuring adherence to all compliance and regulatory rules.
- Reporting to clients, partners, and the management team on engagement progress.
- Managing and coach people.
- Speaking in public forums .
Qualifications and Skills
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics from a recognized university and a minimum of four years relevant work experience are required .
- An advance degree in finance or business and/or designation such as Chartered Financial Analyst, Accredited Senior Appraiser, or Chartered Business Valuator is preferred .
- A keen eye for detail, superior financial skills, strong people skills, the ability to work at one's own initiative, the willingness to travel at relatively short notice, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- An interest in technology and analytics, with a strong understanding of technology used for processing, analysis, and visualization of data is a plus.
- Strong writing skills and full proficiency in the Microsoft office suite products and electronic research tools are essential .
