As an manager corporate finance, you will ensure timely and accurate accounting and reporting of actual / forecasts/ budgets, preparation and finalization of financial statement, managing internal/external audits and compliance with policies and procedures . You will be reporting to entity financial controller.
What Needs To Be Done?
Accounting and reporting :
- Preparation and submission of weekly, monthly, half year and year end reporting as required by Organisation and as per local requirements.
- Preparation and submission of rolling forecasts and annual budgets as required by Oragnisation.
- Overhead / SGA Cost controlling and forecasting / variance analysis
- Controlling and reporting of working capital
- PV of fixed assets / FA register maintenance and capex budget controlling
- Ensure proper month end cost accruals, payroll accrual for leave/gratuities and obtaining actuarial valuations,
- Ensure accurate, timely reporting of financial information
- Ensure statutory compliance with local law and accounting practice.
- Ensure all financial reporting under Multi GAAP / Multi calendar and SOX compliance requirements.
- Provide support to local Management by providing financial reports requested on an ad hoc basis.
Taxation :
- Ensuring compliance with all direct taxation laws viz TDS/TCS / International Withholding taxes deductions / timely filing of returns / obtaining certifications for foreign remittances.
- Compliance with GST and timely filing for returns and annual audits
- Estimation and payment of advance taxes
- Finalisation of annual financial statement as per local regulations for tax purposes
- Tax audits and obtaining necessary certifications for filing returns
- Timely preparation of annual income tax return and filing
- Ensuring compliance with Transfer Pricing regulations / group TP norms.
What Do You Need To Bring?
- Chartered Accountant with 5+ years of post-qualification experience in accounting / taxation
- Good understanding of financial transaction flows / workflows and business practices in a heavy industrial equipment manufacturing & project based organisation.
- Experience in business analysis, reporting, budgeting & forecasting
- Experience working with senior management, auditors, tax authorities and legal advisors
- Experience of working in ERP environment
- Excellent excel skills to analyse and interpret & conclude based on complex data
- Experience revenue recognition principles & good knowledge of USGAAP / Ind AS
- Excellent communication skills across all levels (must be fluent in English)
- Challenge the status quo & focus on continuous improvements
- Ability to work with uncertainties, moving targets / changes
- Perform under minimal supervision & self motivated.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Experience in project controlling /accounting and ERP based POC accounting.

- Engineering industry experience
- Experience of working in global engineering business
- Exposure to SOX or similar internal controls environment will be an added advantage
