Manager Corporate Finance (Dubai)
- You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the corporate accounting and financial consolidation processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting including budgeting, forecasting, and supporting the financial planning and analysis functions.
- In conjunction, will also take ownership of statutory and compliance-based reporting, ensuring alignment with IFRS along with the financial regulatory requirements of UAEVAT, Corporate Tax and Transfer pricing both local and international and external audit.
- This role plays a critical part in maintaining the integrity of financial data and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Finance & Consolidation:
- Manage the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual Group consolidated financial statements based on Group reporting package or any other Group reporting tools (e.g BPC) ensuring compliance with IFRS for internal reporting to Senior management , Board , shareholders and external reporting ( e.g lender group)
- Manage preparation of Holding / Special entities monthly, quarterly and annual separate financial statements .
- Support preparation of Annual Group Consolidated Budget preparation utilising Reporting template or any Reporting tools.
- Support with capital market transactions (e.g. IPOs and debt issuance), M&A transactions (including group restructuring, acquisitions and disposals) and Corporate Finance, Investor Relations and other teams.
- Maintain and enhance financial consolidation systems and tools.
Review/Analysis:
- Conduct review and financial analysis of monthly/quarterly consolidated management financials to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct review and analysis of working capital and inventory to provide insights for ensuring the optimisation of cashflows.
- Corporate VAT, Tax/Transfer pricing compliances
- Review and submission of filling of quarterly VAT return of special purposes holding entities in UAE
- Manage in coordination with internal and external service providers
- Preparation and submission of Annual Corporate Tax return , Tranfer pricing Master and local file in compliance with UAE Corporate Tax law Ensuring Group compliance with international Tax/TP requirement arising out of CBCR/BEPS pillar 2 or any other Group compliance obligation arising out international tax obligation.
Audit:
- Planning, preparation, coordination and execution of Group annual Consolidated external audit and standalone statutory audit of special purpose entities in UAE in accordance with strict deadline
- Manage external audit of covenant reporting and compliance to external lenders in compliance with Facility agreement
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with the DIFC regulations including license renewal, maintenance of proper records/accounts and submission of required reports to the authorities as per regulation with respect to Holding entities in UAE.
- Ensure compliance with UAE Commercial Company law with respect to UAE mainland entities
- Review of report/presentation for management/BOD meetings and keeping records of the proceeding of the meetings.
Team support:
- Mentor corporate finance team members to create effective rotation and transition of all functions for future succession planning.
- Provide support to Corporate finance and local finance team in implementation of any new IFRS standards across the Group.
- Provide support for Group wide implementation of new ERP software with specific focus on Group reporting.
- Other ad hoc duties as may be assigned by Team leader, Senior management
Qualification And Experience:
1. CA or CWA or CMA or CPA or ACCA with 5-8 years of Experience in Financial Reporting & Consolidation with a Manufacturing Organization. Preference for GCC Candidates.
2. Strong Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS & Regulatory Reporting Requirements.
3. Proficiency in ERP & Implementation Experience is a plus.
4. Strong Analytic skills with attention in detail.
RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal:
1. The jobholder's key internal working relationships are with the corporate finance team, subsidiaries finance and relevant functions for reporting inputs, consolidation manager and other senior team as necessary.
External:
1. The jobholder's key External working relationships are with financial institutions, banks, service providers for Audit, Tax, Legal, Consultant/advisors.
PROBLEM-SOLVING/COMPLEXITY:
1. Problem solving would be the activities were in the jobholder is managing various activities of the units and taking decisions to help the company to implement its finance strategies.
2. The jobholder works independently but will seek guidance on various strategic decisions from the Consolidation Manager/Group CFO
