Key accountabilities:

- Create social media content and maintain social calendars to deliver marketing messages, drive engagement and maintain relationships with followers, including monitoring the community, responding or escalating enquiries and lead management.

- Create and translate marketing content such as brochures, flyers, presentations, video subtitles, video scripts and print collateral in line with the La Trobe brand and visual identity.

- Create, translate and optimise website content to publish on owned and third-party websites aimed at a local audience. Key accountability for ensuring content is maintained and compliant whilst achieving marketing objectives.

- Produce email marketing and SMS content in English and [LANGUAGE].

- Provide high-quality content advice and translation services to support local recruitment and marketing functions of the University as required.

- Create event promotional marketing content and provide event coordination support for in- country recruitment events aimed at attracting prospective international students to study at La Trobe University.

- Work within agile, multi-disciplinary teams within the scope of the position, as required by the Senior Content Coordinator, Intergrowth, and the Segment Squad Leader.

- Act as the first point of contact to capture local recruitment requirements and work with La Trobe's creative and digital departments (such as design, video production etc.) to oversee the content production process.

- Identify content marketing needs and gaps and recommend actions to achieve business objectives.

Key selection criteria :

- Experience in the creation and management of marketing materials, such as printed marketing collateral and event promotion materials.

- Experience developing and maintaining a social media content plan (that considers brand and reputation risk) and creating and posting social media content across the primary social media platforms.

- Strong understanding of social media platforms, their best practices and how to manage these platforms

- Experience in monitoring and managing enquiries, leads complaints and issues arising from social media platforms.

- Experience in writing, translating and optimising digital content across digital advertising, email, web, video, SMS and social media.

- Ability to research and source content from multiple sources and translate complex materials from English into [LANGUAGE] that is adapted for audience needs.

- Experience with publishing website content that aligns to SEO best practice.

- High level of computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft programs, Adobe Creative Cloud design programs and content management systems.

- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, follow established procedures with limited supervision and contribute positively to an effective team.

- Ability to set priorities and monitor workflows within own area of responsibility.

Desirable:

- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, digital media, professional writing, journalism or another related field is highly desirable.

- Experience with event coordination.

- Experience in a similar role within the University Sector or related area is highly desirable.

- Knowledge of Agile methodology is highly desirable.

- Capabilities required to be successful in the position
