Our client, a global consulting firm, is looking for a consultant with prior experience in Contract and Claims Management to support them on a Large Capital Program Management project ongoing in Surat. This project involves managing contracts and claims in the construction sector.

Below summarises the responsibilities of the consultant:

- Efficient contract and claim management for the Large Capex Expansion project.

- Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation to execution and closeout.

- Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions, identifying and mitigating potential risks.

- Lead the resolution of claims arising during the project, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

- Implement best practices for contract management to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

- Collaborate with key stakeholders to align contract management activities with project goals.

- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to integrate contract and claim management activities into the overall project plan.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the contract and claim management function.

- Develop risk mitigation strategies to protect the interests of the organization.

- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks associated with contracts and claims.

Your background:

- 8-15 years of experience in contract/claim management in the industrial sector, demonstrating a senior level of expertise.

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering along with an MBA from a top-tier university is mandatory.

- This is a contractual opportunity and will be on an initial 12-month contract, with a high possibility of extension. The selected consultant will be required to be on-site in Surat for the entire duration of the project.
