Manager - Consumer Insights & Innovation - Medical Devices
- Develop the Exploratory (Customer Insights & Innovation) function in R&D - people, processes, and portfolio.
- Implement global PLCP process with required SOP's suitable for regional / emerging market projects.
- Lead a team of Insights engineers to develop the Voice of Customer and Voice of Business.
Voice of Business - Work closely with regional, in country and upstream marketing to align the needs based opportunities with business strategy. Focus on specific disease states across business units and country specific healthcare delivery systems.
Voice of Customer - Develop customer insights processes and tools like Biodesign, Ethnography, contextual innovation and implement the same to develop a portfolio of prioritized customer needs; with focus on all stakeholders (5P's - Patient, physician, payor, provider and policy makers)
- Develop and lead a team of innovation engineers to deliver Innovative products and solutions to meet the customer and business needs. Ensure that the Voice of Value is captured in the potential solutions.
- Develop the Prototyping labs and infrastructure to deliver proof of concept prototypes for customer testing in simulated environments
- Deliver a portfolio of prioritized solutions and liaison with marketing colleagues to test concept feasibility and provide business recommendations
- Participate in portfolio prioritization meeting to represent the voice of regional business and customer
- Own and deliver the goals of the Exploratory function and liaison with Technology Development Process (TDP) and Product Development Process (PDP) functional leads in AMEA and global R&D to transition projects.
- Participate / co-lead Innovation sessions in the in-country / regional medical advisory boards.
- Responsible for working closely with several cross functional colleagues - marketing, clinical, regulatory, pre-clinical and global R&D.
- Work closely with marketing to identify innovative HCP's for potential participation in co-invention teams.
- Connect with the external innovation environment to identify collaboration opportunities across innovation programs in the region.
