Manager - Consulting - 5G Telecom Sector

Job Summary:

As a Management Consulting professional specializing in the TMT domain and 5G technology, the candidate will play a vital role in advising our clients on leveraging the potential of 5G to drive innovation, gain a competitive edge, and capture new market opportunities. He/she will work closely with senior executives and stakeholders, providing strategic counsel and data-driven insights to shape their 5G strategies. Candidate's expertise in 5G technology, market dynamics, and industry best practices will be instrumental in guiding our clients to successfully navigate the complex TMT landscape.

Typical roles and responsibilities for the role are as below:

- Candidate to have strong subject matter knowledge and think creatively to solve large-scale problems for TMT clients across India and global markets. We look for self-driven individuals that can work effectively in an unstructured work environment and work very closely with project teams to support clients' needs.

- Understand and define the business problems and co-create the proposed solution. Leverage essential knowledge of the leading practices in the industry to develop project scope and approach to solve client problems

- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis including data mining, analysis, perform market and secondary research to collect business intelligence and insights

- Work collaboratively with the team in developing project deliverables meeting and exceeding PwCs client service and quality standards

- Deliver client commitments within time/budget constraints

- Drive business development opportunities by proactively translating thought leadership and delivery execution to follow on project opportunities and analysis into consulting

- Develop internal knowledge collateral to help drive the thought leadership within and outside the firm

- Willing to travel internationally and work on site 50-70% of the time at client locations.

Key Project Activities :

- Conduct in-depth analysis/assessment of the client, with a specific focus on 5G technology, to identify opportunities and challenges that our clients can address with 5G implementation.

- Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to define the strategic direction and vision for 5G initiatives within our clients' organizations.

- Provide expert advice on the integration of 5G technology into the clients' existing business models and operations to optimize performance and drive innovation.

- Conduct market research to understand the competitive landscape and identify potential partners or vendors for 5G-related solutions and services.

- Develop comprehensive 5G strategies for our clients, including roadmap planning, resource allocation, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

- Assess the technical and operational feasibility of 5G implementations, considering factors such as infrastructure requirements, regulatory considerations, and potential risks.

- Facilitate workshops and strategic planning sessions with key stakeholders to gather insights and foster alignment on 5G initiatives.

- Develop use cases, present strategic recommendations, and findings to senior leadership in a clear and compelling manner, showcasing the value of 5G adoption.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology experts, engineers, and financial analysts, to ensure successful execution of 5G strategies.

- Continuously monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments in the 5G space, providing thought leadership to clients and internal teams.

Education and Experience :

- 5+ years of relevant experience in TMT domain and 5G technology

- Experience in management consulting or a similar advisory role is highly desirable

- Advance working knowledge of with MS-Office tools (Visio, Excel, Power Point, and other tools).

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable.
