Manager - Compliance


Responsibilities:


- Assist CCO in planning, designing, and implementing standards for compliance with all applicable regulatory regime and conducting Compliance risk assessments.

- Ensuring that the Company is compliant with the Master Direction/Circulars issued or amended by RBI/NHB/SEBI/MCA and other applicable regulatory bodies from time to time

- Develop, implement and maintain regulatory policies and procedures under the Compliance Program, including review mechanisms to ensure its continued effectiveness in ensuring all applicable compliances by the company.

- Develop and introduce effective controls for tracking and documenting regulatory risks.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the implementation of compliance requirements at all levels/processes of the organization and to direct compliance issues to existing channels for resolution.

- Maintain and organize compliance records in consonance with internal control and audit mechanisms.

- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development.

- Monitor the reporting, escalation, and timely remediation of issues, deficiencies or regulatory matters regarding compliance risk management.

- Conducts regular assessments to determine whether policies are compliant with the law.

Key Skills:

- Professional Compliance designation (CS, LLB or LLM) or Master's degree in Business Management or other related fields.

- 6 - 10 years of experience in Compliance, Risk and Control functions in the Banking and Financial Service-related Industry will be required.

- Well-versed with compliances with NHB, RBI, SEBI and other regulators applicable for Systematically Important NBFC and Housing Finance Company.

- High ethical standards, integrity, and a commitment to promoting a culture of compliance and ethical conduct within the organization.

- Knowledge and exposure on Policies and Procedure reviews and implementation would be good to have.

- Strategic planning, complex problem resolution and general management expertise

- Goal Focus, Analytical skills, Collaboration skills, Adaptability skills.

- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
