Responsibilities:
1. Implementation of Compliance Policy:
- Institute Compliance Management System for statutory, key contractual and internal compliances applicable to the business
- Build compliance culture in the organisation through policies, trainings and awareness programmes
- Train stakeholders at sites on their obligations and reporting requirements
2. Compliance Management & Reporting
- Maintain a tracker for key compliances: a) statutory permits / consents / approvals; other statutory and internal compliances and ensure that each compliance, permit, has an owner and that they are valid at all times
- Support business in preparing periodic Compliance certificates
- Report of all major non-compliances to the Management
3. Compliance Tool Management:
- Manage the compliance management tool and coordinate with service provider
- Organize & coordinate periodic onsite assessment of statutory compliances across all investments
- Conduct compliance review / due diligence for new investment
- Identification and updation of applicable compliances
4. Notice management:
- Assist Business in preparing the draft response with the help of in-house legal team or external legal consultants
- Ensure timely response to all the notices received
- Maintain repository of all the statutory notices
- Periodic MIS
5. Assurance / Audit
- Prepare audit plan in coordination with internal and external stakeholders
- Perform and monitor Compliance Audits across sites
- Report all major non-compliances and help business in complying with the same
Requirements :
- 3 - 7 years of relevant experience
Qualification : LLB/LLM
- Eye for detail
- Articulate; good oral, writing and presentation skills.
- Effective communicator
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated
- Has an urge for continuous learning and improvement
