Manager Compliance - Employment Law
Experience 7 + years, with demonstrated experience in:
- Working in IT & ITES organization as a compliance officer.
- Handling employment law related compliance.
- Handling immigration matters including Visa (inbound and out bound).
- Handling Litigation matters arising out of employment law issues.
- Handling compliance issues in different states.
- Advising on payroll compliance with emphasis on PF, ESIC and minimum wages, leave administration.
Skill sets & Proficiencies:
- Ability to provide advice to payroll and human resources departments on various matters pertaining to employment laws (as per regulatory requirements in different states).
- Ability to work with business teams to handle employment law related issues.
- Ability to provide inputs to senior management for seeking inputs and decisions.
- Ability to create a compliance monitoring program and provide reports to senior management.
- Monitors, and as necessary, coordinates employment law compliance activities of other departments to remain abreast of the status of all employment law compliance activities and to identify trends.
- Identifies potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; develops/implements corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, and provides general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.
Soft skills:
- Good command over spoken and written English.
- Ability to make presentations.
- Team player and good interpersonal skills.
- Strong Power-Point and MS Word skills.
Education & Experience Required:
- Minimum LLB
- Experience: 7+ years
- CS preferred but not mandatory
