Compliance Manager
1. Job Purpose Statement (Summarise in one/two statements why this job exists and the contribution makes to the overall business of the company). To ensure 100% compliances under all the applicable employment & labour laws and rapid closure of compliance issues in stipulated timelines.
2. Duties & Responsibilities ( List in the order of importance the duties & responsibilities of this job)
Major Responsibilities :
- Ensuring 100% compliance in all the Branches, Regional / Zonal & Head offices of MMFSL under all the applicable Employment & Labour Laws.
- Complying with the statutory provisions of employment laws and completion of compliance activities in compliance module.
- Ensuring completion of compliance activities in the compliance module.
- Ensuring smooth functioning of compliance module.
- Maintaining sound knowledge of employment laws and best practices to deal with the issues.
- Handling the various disciplinary & Sexual Harassment issues pertaining to FSS.
- Adhering to the labour legislations / principles of natural justice / SOP while dealing with the issues.
- Ensuring closure of all compliance & disciplinary issues within stipulated timelines.
- Drafting of responses to various compliance notices.
- Closing all compliances notices
- Resolving Compliance queries within stipulated timelines
- Configuring the module as per the organization structure.
- Making changes in the rules in the module as per the latest amendment.
- Minimizing the manual efforts in the use of the compliance.
Coordination:
- Coordination with the compliance module users for complying with the statutory provisions of employment laws and completion of compliance activities in compliance module.
- Coordination with the Information technology team and external vendors for process development and automation in the existing processes.
- Handling various Internal and external Audits wrt Compliance.
- Adopting influencing communications skills in order to reach the mutually agreed outcomes.
MIS & Reporting :
- Recording all the issues in a constructive, clear and concise manner to present the accurate MIS to Senior Management through offline & online channels.
- Reporting Monthly compliance before 3rd of every month to Senior Management.
- Reporting the issues to the senior management, to highlight the potential risk factors
- Suggesting the timely changes in the SOP supported by the data available.
Process improvement through Automation & Training:
- Provide advice on processes and training to regional/ zonal team members (existing as well as new joinees).
- Providing effective training to Regional & Zonal Teams to enhance their capabilities and decision making abilities.
- Achieving continuous process improvement through automation, data presentation and by finding the loop holes while process execution and taking corrective action
