Job purpose:
Accountable for C&B policies, processes, and initiatives across multiple Group Companies across PAN India.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for designing and implementing the compensation & benefits strategy and its group companies in accordance with the organizational objectives and work culture.
- Responsible for formulating the processes / programs / salary structure as per the governing laws.
- Using various methods and techniques and making data based decisions on direct and indirect financial compensation.
- Responsible for creating proposals / polices and making amendments in existing policies viz. impact of new labour Code on existing C&B policies.
- Conducting the salary benchmarking and providing the inputs regarding competitors practice and conducting a comparative analysis with thePolicies and implementing the changes accordingly.
- Conducting ongoing research about emerging trends as well as best practices in the market.
- Conducting analysis of existing C&B processes/policies and entitlement and drawing inference and suggesting approach for harmonization in M&A environment.
- Working on automating the C&B module and leading the change management process at the time of technology implementation and training all the stakeholders for effective implementation of the C&B module.
- Conducting the Job Evaluation exercises to create National Band/Grades and implementing the same by influencing the senior stakeholders across Group Companies and making effective communication plans for employees at large.
- Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with current laws and regulations.
- Responsible to plan C&B cost for annual planning, monitoring, and controlling the cost.
- Responsible for working on various benefit plans like Mediclaim, Covid related coverages, Term Life and Group Personal Accident, Employee State Insurance Act & Maternity
Benefit Act etc, by connecting with the insurance providers, getting the quotes, and negotiating for best premium rates.
- Defining equitable, competitive, and fair compensation and benefits packages that fit and are also in accordance with our business goals and strategies
Skill Set:
- Experience as a Compensation and Benefits Manager or similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of benefits and compensation programs, policies, procedures, Fix, Variable and Long-Term Compensation plans like ESOPs, RSUs etc. is essential.
- Extensive knowledge on applicable labor legislation.
- Excellent understanding of job evaluation and job analysis systems.
- Good knowledge on market trends and latest technologies for HR Automation.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Should be agile and proactive.
- Strong people and project management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
