Strategic category Management:

- Vendor development along with on ground extension activities for change management to increase share of buying in existing buying catchment areas. Also expand catchment areas by identifying and actioning new areas.

- Enabling Procurement to ensure Material availability to internal customers of planned & unplanned demand as per desired inventory norms set by organization.

- Ensuring Business Continuity through Value chain dominance (upstream sourcing, disintermediation), Supply Risk mit-igation (Alternate Vendor development, Strategic relationships) and Sustainable sourcing.

- Forecasting of supplies, demand and price basis related commodities, understanding of macroeconomic fundamentals, weather forecasts etc.,

- Position building - through identifying potential stock position building opportunities through efficient forecasting and stakeholder engagement.

Information classification: Official

- Effective Supplier Relationship Management to deliver desired performance from Vendors through Category Supplier Management deployment, Supplier Performance management, Negotiation tools deployment (RFQ, e-auc-tions, offline negotiations, tendering), Contract Management & Supplier Lifecycle Management.

- Ensuring GRC in Procurement through Transaction Governance for commodities spend of 310+ Cr in the Sourcing to Contracting & Purchase to Pay process, Risk Management through vulnerability assessment & action planning, Auto-mation of Controls and Compliance & Commercial requirements (LC, Payment mechanisms, Incoterms, Insurance, Forex)

- Improving Transaction Productivity through redesigning the Procurement related process to improve speed, accuracy, reduce resource usage by introducing algorithmic thinking & making them touch-free.

- Talent Management through talent capability development, succession & career planning, inculcating Values & Culture.
