Role Overview:
- The Manager for Collection Strategy & Process Management will oversee and enhance collection analysis, reporting, and process management.
- This role involves preparing and publishing analytical reports, setting up trend analysis and forecasting modules, and managing a substantial volume of data to support senior management and field operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Collection Analysis:
- Conduct detailed collection analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and manage reports that provide actionable insights into collection performance.
Reporting:
- Prepare and publish regular analytical reports for senior management, ensuring clarity and relevance.
- Create and maintain a robust reporting base to support decision-making processes.
- Develop trend analysis and forecasting modules to anticipate future collection performance.
Data Management:
- Handle and analyze large datasets with accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare databases for presentations and ensure data integrity for senior management reviews.
- Manage and resolve data or process-related queries from field employees, especially senior-level staff.
Special Reports:
- Prepare and deliver special focus area reports and drive analysis for field operations.
- Develop data for appraisals and ad-hoc reports as required by management.
Process Improvement:
- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for collection and legal-related projects.
- Initiate and lead the setup of new processes and projects to enhance collection strategies.
- Provide technical support to the team, ensuring effective implementation of new processes.
Technical Expertise:
- Utilize programming languages, SQL, and Excel to manage and analyze data effectively.
- Offer technical support and training to team members on data-related issues.
Communication:
- Maintain effective interaction with senior management, ensuring clear communication of analysis and recommendations.
- Work under extreme pressure and tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Knowledge Requirements:
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the end-to-end collection process.
- Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field.
- Advanced degrees or certifications in data analysis or business management are a plus.
- Experience: Proven experience in collection analysis, process management, and reporting.
- Previous experience in a managerial role is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages SQL, and advanced Excel functions.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
