Overview:


The Collection Analyst plays a crucial role in the organization's finance department, responsible for analyzing and managing collection processes to ensure timely and effective account receivables management. This position is essential for maintaining positive cash flow and minimizing bad debt exposure, thereby contributing to the financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze delinquent accounts and prepare reports detailing status and action plans for resolution.

- Work closely with internal teams to resolve billing and collection issues.

- Assist in the development and implementation of collection strategies and best practices.

- Conduct in-depth data analysis using Python and SQL to identify trends and patterns in accounts receivables.

- Monitor and manage collection queue, prioritizing accounts based on risk and aging.

- Communicate effectively with customers to negotiate payment plans and resolve outstanding balances.

- Generate regular reports and dashboards to track collection performance and KPIs.

- Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the development of automated collection tools.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline collection processes and enhance efficiency.

- Adhere to compliance regulations and company policies in all collection activities.

Required qualifications:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.

- Proven experience in collection analysis, preferably in a financial or corporate environment.

- Demonstrated proficiency in Python scripting for data analysis and visualization.

- Strong SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.

- Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.

- Ability to interpret complex data sets and extract actionable insights.

- Experience in using CRM and ERP systems for collection management.

- Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- Effective communication and negotiation abilities.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
