Fund Services - Client Operations
Key Responsibilities
Functional:
- Implement and monitor the organizational strategic plan and develop goals and strategies that address priority issues related to functional excellence, people, innovation and efficiency within the Client Operations function.
- Managing and leading the team responsible for day to day inquiry management, resolution of exceptions, reviewing and coordinating client instructions as well as timely and accurate client reporting.
- As escalation point of contact for key client relationships, ensure all client deliverables are met on a timely basis, SLA's are met and service delivery exceeds expectations.
- Stakeholder management and collaboration - effective communication/collaboration and regular status reporting to key multi-functional stakeholders across Operations, Technology and global Product to identify and resolve key business risks/issues
Operational Excellence & Innovation:
- The candidate will be required to provide innovative solutions for efficient operations and prioritize key technology enhancements
- The candidate will be responsible for driving automation solutions to streamline the business process
- The candidate will be responsible to identify project opportunities which will lead to significant business impact leading to financial saves, best practice sharing, reduce both manual effort and risk
People Management:
- Build a strong and transparent culture for staff
- Advance inclusive leadership by supporting diversity & inclusion agenda, training, performance management, networking, mobility and mentoring
- Candidate will be required to engage, motivate and influence direct reports, teams, peers to enhance overall employee engagement.
Partnership & Governance:
- Considering the candidate will work in a matrix organization, partnership with various sites across the globe and business contacts is key to success
- Institute a strong governance framework locally in the region and metrics which are consistent with the globe to ensure strong focus on quality, delivery and enhancing client experience
Risk & Control:
- The candidate will be responsible for building a strong Risk aware/ controls focused operations
- Work closely with business partners and Controls Managers in driving/ implementing an effective, robust proactive and sustainable controls program to proactively manage risks to the business
Experience & Skill Set:
- 7-8 years' of relevant experience. Familiarity with global bank's process and operational environment. Strong business knowledge product, process and system knowledge.
- Proven experience working in Securities Servicing, Accounting, Collateral, Compliance and/or Custody businesses.
- Ensuring the teams activities support Operations in attaining in strategic goals
- Ability to do automation and tech solutions across the team.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with Confidence to challenge, and be challenged, whilst remaining with a positive 'can-do' outlook
- Strong experience working with cross border teams and leading global initiatives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and adept to communicate with all levels of the business and technical parts of the organization
- Ability to partner with demanding stakeholders, managing their expectations while developing strong working relationships with them
