Manager - Central Planning

Position Description :

Designation : Manager - Central Planning

Reporting to : Head of Operations

Qualification : B.E (Prod) / B.Tech (Mech)

Experience : At least 8 -10 years of relevant experience

Position Summary :

Overall responsible for ensuring on time delivery performance to customers both External and Internal across all plants and at the same time the internal efficiencies are constantly challenged and improved.

Detail Responsibilities:

- Master Data maintenance to ensure that one common code is used for various aspects like all materials, processes, resources, customers, suppliers etc. for the company as a whole

- Prioritize GCC activities that will evaluate the inputs given by our customers and provide feedback to both the customers and prepress for further action for all internal jobs

- Prioritize prepress activities for external customers and ensure Turn around time

- Follow up for timely approval of PDF to maximize sales potential

- Scheduling the jobs looking at customer priority, balancing Internal / External customer requirements and to ensure requirements are met by scheduling the execution.

- Allocation of capacity for both Internal and external customers

- Decide diversion of jobs to external vendor basis the load and priorities in consultation with SCMG

- Coordinate with plant planner on planning various processes across different plants for each job in a manner that ensures customers priorities and requirements are met

- Coordination for smooth flow of orders in to sales by follow ups and reviewing

- Material Planning and provide inputs to ensure material of the requires specifications are available for execution

- Optimizing the usage of old base shells

- Interact with customer on deliveries / timelines

Additional Skills required :

- Ability to handle the sales team and operations team in a matured way

- Ability to interact with customer

- Team working and good coordination skills with plant planners

- Planning & organizing skills, Analytical ability.

- Bottleneck analysis and problem-solving skills

- Full Proficiency over MS Office and other IT Tools, exposure to ERPs is desirable
