Job Description: Our client, a well known name in its category is looking to hire a Manager - Category Creation. Positon Reports to: CEO Direct Sales Base Location: Mumbai, Corporate HO. Key Responsibilities: - As a category creation manager, he /she shall be responsible for promoting and improving the sales of the existing and new product categories along with supporting and growing the Sales Consultant channel. - The position shall be responsible in understanding the market dynamics and potential through market research, understand customers' needs and the Direct channel environment across the country. - He / she shall use the market research information for product positioning to improve sales and revenue. The position shall also support CEO with various weekly / monthly analysis and business reports. Job Responsibilities: - Drive Sales Consultant model through leaders & help in sourcing and recruiting freelancers - Coordinate with HR / Marketing and workout innovative avenues to attract Sales Freelancers - Devise long-term development strategies for new and existing product categories. - Analyse trends of product movements, share insights both to determine strength as well as the areas needing focus - Develop exit strategies for unsuccessful products - Foster trust relationships with vendors both internal (Marketing / HR) and external agencies for recruitment and market activities - Involve in ROFO planning and help in ensuring product availability - Device schemes and attractive promotions to push the salience of both the product categories - Liaise with marketing teams to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities for the product category - Assume responsibility of budget development and revenue for category in line with AOP Qualification | Skill | Work experience: - Master's in Business / Sales Management from reputed university / B school. - Overall 7 to 10 years of experience in sales related roles - Proven experience as category manager or similar role - Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods - Good communication skills (verbal, written and presentations), Analytical skills, including ability to translate complex ideas into recommended programs, initiatives and outcomes; provide sound business justification to support executive decision-making - Proficiency in MS Office - An analytical mind with strategic abilities Cost Band: All-inclusive CTC - 15 to 20 lacs (80/20)
