Manager - Capital Markets - Mortgage Real Estate Industry - IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS

JOB PROFILE:

AAMC through its wholly owned subsidiary in India viz., Finsight Business Solutions Private Limited, is seeking a Manager Capital Markets, located in Bangalore, India. Manager/Sr. Manager, Capital Markets will report to the EVP, Capital Markets & Operations.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Analyze, underwrite and acquire mortgage-backed loans and other credit instruments from secondary market

- Secondary market operations like sale and securitization of loans originated and acquired

- Oversight of closing process on both acquisition and sale of loans

- Identify new opportunities based on market research

- Fair Market Valuation of assets on the books

- Manage credit lines with various financial institutions

- Build and/or operate cash flow models to support securitization, portfolio analytics and other business needs.

- Analyse data to support capital markets decisions using advanced data analytics tools such as Python, Excel VBA, R, etc

- Extract and collect data from multiple systems and data repositories for regular reporting and ad-hoc reporting.

- Responsible for conducting studies that evaluate data on economic conditions, identify and evaluate economic trends and their impact on the market and formulate forecasts of future economic developments with regards to the mortgage industry

- Manage the analysis of data on the performance of the loan portfolio (prepayment and delinquency) for trends and comparison to industry norms.

- Monitor investments on a daily basis to ensure that approved strategies are being applied as planned

- Identify performance metrics, prepare monthly and ad-hoc reports to effectively communicate the portfolio performance to senior management

- Accountable for generating revenue for the company by effective resolution of the defaulted assets

- Tracking any defaulted loan through foreclosure process and making sure there are no unnecessary delays.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

- MBA from premier institute

- 4-7 years of experience in a financial analysis environment; mortgage real estate industry preferred.

- Experience in cash flow modelling, securitization analytics, quantitative and data analytics.

PREFERRED SKILLS :

- Highly Analytical with excellent problem-solving skills

- Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify opportunities, problems, gaps and inconsistencies.
