SUMMARY
Business development (specifically pre-sales and sales support) is what is expected from this role. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients. The BDM will respond to RFP's, tenders, and develops sales with new prospective clients/ explore new regions and PSE organizations, including PSE's and Government of India establishments, GOI Ministries, State Governments, and other government sector establishments. The BDM is expected to meet allocated revenue targets & build a strong pipeline for future growth
We are looking for an ambitious, self-driven, energetic & quick to learn Business Development Manager to help us grow SHRM India's PSE vertical with high priority placed on integrity, quality of service, and willingness to learn as well as work in a team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-
- Execute growth strategy, as designed and formulated with the PSE Head, focused on the PSE and Government sector, both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct research to identify new PSE accounts, government - both central and state and their HR / Leadership needs. Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
- Contribute to prospect identification, proposal writing, opportunity identification, pitch preparation and client presentation.
- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices & collections being a very important part. Creating reports and dashboards for both lead and lag measures for the sales cycle.
- Build Advisory capability and know how of SHRM products, services, and offerings to be able to pitch to clients.
- Provide after-sales support & build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
- Proven working experience in this sector in sales/BD/relevant role. Proven sales track record.
- Relationship and network with HR, Marketing and Leadership positions in PSE- s, Government Establishments is a must in this role.
- Market knowledge of cultural and functional know-how of PSE's and Government Establishments is a plus. Also been well versed with structures, hierarchy and protocols in the public sector is required.
- Effective Communication; with the ability to negotiate and forge collaborations & rapport.
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
