Business Strategy Manager - Marketplace
- Reliance Retail is in search of a seasoned, dynamic and passionate individuals to come and lead business strategy and strategic initiatives for the Marketplace team.

Key Responsibilities :
- Identify and develop strategic opportunities for business with a view of improved offerings, increased customer base, and gaining additional market share.
- Evaluate new markets and their growth opportunities.
- Provide long term and short-term strategic recommendations to business executives to improve business and capitalize on any available opportunity.
- Take up new initiatives from conceptualization stage to go to market stage before handover to designated business leader for business as usual way of managing the initiative.
- Own required market studies, market share analysis, competitive benchmarking, global research, consumer research, etc. and suggest business improvements and changes to ensure business is evolving in the right direction.
- Promote and use insightful quantitative analysis and data models to back business decisions.
- Collaborate and build relationship with key internal leaders and stakeholder to ensure there is free flow of ideas and information across the business.
- Identify potential companies for strategic investment / acquisition and drive end to end playbook for such initiatives. Manage relationship post deal to ensure optimum synergy realization.
- Manage communication of strategic direction of the business to the larger team.

- Ability to work in highly ambiguous environment, operating at all levels, and taking initiatives from 0 to 1
Education & Experience Required :
- Education ; MBA/Post Graduate from a Tier-1 B-School
- Total Experience ; 3+ years
- Preferred Experience ; Strategy & management consulting background (2+ years) + Retail/FMCG/eCommerce industry experience (1+ years).
