- The Business Modelling Group in the UK (presently the key engagement for the team) is the centre of excellence for modelling services in the firm with an international reputation. The assignments cover a wide range of countries and industry sectors.
- To support existing business modelling support activities . In addition to managing the project delivery.This role involves heavy hands-on development. Both the existing team and the UK team will provide the necessary training to the new team.
Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Assist the UK BPM team in the design and build of new MS Access / VBA applications
- Assist the UK BPM team with the testing and documentation of MS Access / Excel / VBA Applications
- Assist the UK BPM team in code review and bug fixes.
Manager-BPM
- Manage a team of 8-10 people
Associate Manager-BPM
- Manage a team of 3-5
- Assign people to projects based on their skills, career goals and client’s expectations
- Produce assignment budgets and timetables, and manage delivery against them
- Provide team members with accurate and useful guidance in technical areas of high risk and complexity
- Act as a counsellor for team members
- Paricipate in goal setting, performance appraisal and management of counselees
- Identify L&D requirements of counselees
Competencies / skills:
Must Have:
- Highly numerate and analytical individuals preferably with an excellent academic record and a degree in mathematics, economics, sciences, engineering or accounting & finance
- Very Strong MS Access skills with a proven experience of building complex MS Access applications using forms, queries and visual basic code in recent past.
- Advanced Excel and VBA skills.
- Very strong relational database (SQL Server / Oracle) design and build skills.
- Working knowledge of Visual Basic Editor and Visual Studio 2005/2008
- Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle.
- Proven experience in estimating, planning and managing technology projects.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent written and spoken English skills. Can document complex technical issues to non-technical staff
- Organised and structured in the completion of tasks
Good to Haves:
- Advanced Visual Basic skills
- Good working knowledge of C# .NET/ JAVA
- Any prior experience working with off the shelf BI reporting tools or ETL applications such as Informatica will be looked at very favourably.
- Microsoft certifications such as MCAS/MOS
- Experience in testing methodologies and using testing tools

- MBA/PGD with 7-10 years of relevant work experience building MS Access and VBA applications.
Associate Manager:
- MBA/PGD with 6-9 years of relevant work experience building MS Access and VBA applications.
