Manager - Business Finance - Online/Internet

We are looking for financial analysts who can act as the bridge between finance and business - defining, developing, and implementing systems, policies, and reporting mechanisms to monitor and drive business decisions and performance.

Responsibility:

1. Review and analyze historical business trends, understand demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop financial models, and evaluate business outcomes

2. Continuously monitor financial and business KPI's, highlight trends, and analyse causes of variance

3. Keenly follow the competitive landscape and feed management with relevant intelligence

4. Monitor competitor activity and strategies to benchmark performance and identify improvement areas

5. Partner with business teams to improve results

6. Handling ad-hoc research requests as per management requests

7. Build and manage financial models for forecasting, variance analysis, and problem-solving

8. Facilitate regular business review meetings: present key insights and provide recommendations for decision making

9. Suggest predictions for the future based on current data trends

Skills and Experience:

- MBA (Finance) from a reputed institute

- 6-7 years of experience in financial analysis for a tech/online business

- Expertise in working with large amounts of data: facts, figures, and number crunching

- Ability to see through the data and analyze it to derive conclusions

- Proven track record of delivering projects in a timely manner

- Experience in presenting findings and insights to business leaders

- Attention to Detail

- Experience in Quarterly and Monthly Financial reporting, annual budgeting, and forecasting process

- Experience in evaluating expenditure proposals

- Past experience in designing MIS to facilitate business performance reviewing is a must
