Business Finance Manager - FMCG

Roles and Responsibilities :- This position is a Team handling role (Managing a team of 4 members) handling entire business finance role managing financial reporting, Income Tax assessments, TDS & returns, Vendor Reconciliation, and Internal & Statutory Audits. The role reports to the Business Head & Business CFO of Consumer Care in a matrix reporting environment.
The responsibility includes : - Prepare Business Plan and drive achievement on all financials and operational parameters.
- Work closely with Business teams to drive productivity improvement, cost reduction, cost controls, inventory management, contract management.
- Product costing, margin analysis and tracking, active participation in pricing strategy.
- Preparation and consolidation of financial statements.
- Upkeep of financial controls and hygiene in books keeping. Ensure sufficient internal controls.
- Monthly and quarterly book closure and reporting. Variance analysis, ledger reviews & process understanding/control.
- Support in closing statutory & internal audits.
- Compliance with accounting standards, statutory laws & regulations.
- Improving efficiency in regular reporting by simplifying processes.
- Drive Working Capital improvement across.
- Treasury management. Co-ordination with Bank, HO team.
- Business proposal evaluations, contract negotiation, Capex/investment plan etc.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships
- Lead IT function at the unit level with help of CIO.
Skills/Qualifications :- CA with 10-14 years total experience and at least 3 years experience in handling Business Finance
- Analytical ability: ability to contribute to business and resolve business issues
- Ability in working with cross functional team
- Understanding of implications of commercials and tax laws on accounting
- Proficient in SAP. Experience in and knowledge of various IT applications/tools/platforms
- Experience in consolidation controllership and finalization
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and other software applications/tools
- Good understanding of Ind AS/IFRS.
- Experience in handling internal and statutory audits
Key Requirements :- Open to work for 5.5 working days in a week.
