Job description:
We are looking for a creative, self-starter with client relationship skills to join a Senior ERP Sales Account Manager resource. You will be singularly responsible for business development . You will help us grow our ERP/software business through strategic lead generation, research, and cold outreach via phone calls and emails. You will also use your experience in sales to work with management to refine our sales strategy, messaging, and sales process. Resource should be focused towards account management, billing, new projects in existing accounts, proposals, project meetings with client, issues resolution between client and tech resources etc. The overall objective of this role is to achieve or exceed sales targets in each financial year.
Description: The Business Development Manager is responsible for working closely managing the lead identification process with Clients and OEM (SAP) from beginning to close.

Experience :
- Eight to ten years of related SAP / ERP sales experience
- Experience in selling into manufacturing, CPG, Pharma, and real estate/Infrastructure vertical
- Previous sales & lead generation experience in service industry
- Mapping initial client requirements and finalizing the scope of work with the client and the technical team
- Conducting extensive market and company research through the internet and other lead sources to target prospects intelligently.
- Excellent communication and soft skills (verbal & written) including telephone and presentation skills
- Interacting with the decision makers/ Top Management to discuss business needs.
- Handling all the initial communication with a prospect to uncover needs, articulate value proposition (via phone, email etc.), and also set-up in-person meetings.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for development of account plans for selected named accounts.
2. Responsible for achieving quarterly & annual sales targets.
3. Responsible for the overall planning, strategy, direction, and control of all sales in the allocated accounts; achievement of agreed sales targets; and the development of future sales plans.
4. Responsible for building and maintaining sales pipeline in CRM and submitting required sales forecasts.
5. Responsible for handling escalated customer complaints.
6. Required to communicate with customers to ensure that contractual service agreements and expectations are exceeded.
7. Provide sales, technology, and business-related expertise particularly in the relevant Industry.
8. Establish contacts and building positive relationships/networks with senior level decision makers of the relevant Industry and its environment.
Qualification:
1. Bachelor's/Master's degree
2. A proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets
3. Minimum of 7 years of experience selling ERP software solutions
4. High level of energy, drive, intellect, enthusiasm, initiative, and commitment; including the ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment
5. Self-motivated to expand personal professional knowledge of product and selling skills, and pursue high performance achievement
6. Strong communication skills, over the phone and face to face, and capable of managing professional sales presentations.
7. Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent sales cycles.
8. Proven ability to collaborate with team members
9. Perfect verbal and written English fluency
