Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in media sales and sponsorship to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and driving revenue across multiple media platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Key Relationships & Business Development: The candidate must hold existing key relationships. Develop and implement a business development strategy to identify and pursue new sales opportunities. Conduct market research, build relationships with potential clients, and create proposals that meet their advertising and sponsorship needs.
2. Sales: Generate revenue growth through the sale of advertising space and sponsorships across multiple media platforms, including print, digital, and events. Develop sales strategies, create pricing proposals, negotiate deals, and close sales.
3. Sponsorship Activation: Work closely with clients to ensure the successful activation of their sponsorship deals, including managing their sponsorship benefits and deliverables.
4. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure ongoing business and identify upsell opportunities. Provide excellent customer service and work closely with clients to develop and implement effective advertising and sponsorship campaigns.
5. Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams, including marketing, production, and editorial, to ensure that client needs are met, and campaigns are executed effectively.
Qualifications :
1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
2. 5-8 years of experience in media sales, business development, or client relationship management.
3. Experience in sponsorship sales and activation is highly desirable.
4. Presentable, Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and close deals.
5. Strong analytical skills and the ability to conduct market research and analyze data.
6. Experience in the media industry, including print, digital, and events.
7. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
