A global company that caters to the exploration and production industry in both, the upstream and downstream with a diverse range of products and technical services is looking at hiring a Sales and Business Development Manager to be based at their office in Mumbai

Expected deliverables :

1) Identifying new business opportunities for Capital Equipment's, Operation & Maintenance and EPIC Projects.

2) Partnering and building strong ties with Engineers India Limited would be of utmost importance

3) Generate leads, arrange and execute client calls and meetings and to convert them into sales. Will have to be very systematic in preparing a call list.

4) Create marketing collaterals / sales pitches / presentations for pre sales

5) Ensure SOOPL gets on-boarded as a partner for machinery supplies for Refineries, Oil companies to name a few

6) Prepare offer proposals and pricing models

7) Maintain existing partnerships/relationships and create demand for tailor made products as per specific client needs

8) Develop market intelligence and track competition

9) Create and maintain sales dashboards, business pipeline forecast and any other sales related data that the management might require.

What are we looking for in a candidate:

1) Minimum 5 years of experience in Industrial machinery sales

2) BE/BTech, MBA will be an added advantage

3) Should have background/understanding of Engineering Industry

4) Strong ties with EIL would be preferred

5) Strong exposure to B2B sales preferably with industrial products/ Machinery

6) Exposure of dealing with Government organisations, PSUs & Large Corporates

7) Excellent communication and persuasion, the right amount of assertion, must be able to deal with the CXO level officials

8) Willingness to travel PAN India, majorly in the north and eastern regions where Refineries and Extraction companies are based

9) Must be hands on with MS Office tools
