Business Development Manager - SAAS (Aviation, 5-10 years)

Job Description : This role is focused on generating revenue from the OTAs, TMCs and travel technology sector in India and other parts of South Asia. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of meeting sales quota, be goal oriented, have a growth mindset and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Client Details : Our client is a global data and analytics companies supplying valuable insights to aviation, aerospace and travel companies. It is a part of an FTSE 100 traded group.

Description :

1 Sales Activity :

- Identify new business opportunities to increase market share and penetration of the solutions

- Achieve new business and renewal targets for accounts in assigned markets


- Plan and execute sales campaigns and account plans to deliver against target and maximise revenue growth


- Ability to learn products and solutions quickly and explain them to clients and prospects


2. Relationship Management :

- Regular contact with prospects and existing customers to understand their business objectives

- Deliver a high level of customer satisfaction through a consultative sales approach


- Establish strong working relationships with all internal stakeholders in order to develop and deliver bespoke customer solutions


- Share best practices across the sales team


3. Market Knowledge : Keep abreast of industry updates and competitor activities, and derive the impact this would have on the solutions

Profile :

- At least 5 years of B2B sales experience with proven track record of meeting sales quota

- Comfortable with cold calling


- Experience selling into the aviation/travel industry is a plus


- Ability to learn quickly about products and complex data solutions


- Good in network building and opening new markets


- Results driven and self motivate
