manager - Business development
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to secure new clients within the staffing and recruitment industry.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and stay updated on industry trends and market dynamics.
- Generate high-quality leads through effective prospecting techniques, networking, and relationship building.
- Qualify leads and convert them into paying clients through persuasive presentations and skilled negotiation.
- Manage and develop strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring their satisfaction and long-term partnership.
- Analyze market data and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities and optimize strategies.
- Prepare insightful reports on sales activities, pipeline progress, and market trends.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams (recruiters, account managers) to ensure successful client onboarding and project execution.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field from a premier institute like IIM (highly preferred).
- Proven experience (2+ years) in business development, sales, and account management within the staffing and recruitment industry.
- In-depth understanding of staffing and recruitment processes, including industry best practices and current trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively engage with diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to business development.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
