Job Description:
A leading player in the Access Control Industry is seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager - Projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, with a focus on project-based sales in the Access Control domain. The role requires a professional based in the region, who is enthusiastic about meeting potential prospects in person, establishing strong relationships, and driving business growth.
Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue business opportunities in the Access Control Industry.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
- Foster relationships with System Integrators (SIs), Architects, Builders, and Consultants to promote solutions.
Project Management:
- Oversee and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring successful delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate project activities and meet client requirements.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing effective solutions.
- Conduct regular client meetings and presentations to showcase products and services.
Market Research:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
- Use market insights to identify new business opportunities and enhance market position.
Travel:
- Willingness to travel within the region and occasionally beyond to meet with potential clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, preferably in the Access Control industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and closing projects.
- Strong network with System Integrators (SIs), Architects, Builders, and Consultants.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and project-related activities.
