Mandatory Requirement :
- Good understanding of financial markets, investment products, and regulatory requirements related to Portfolio Management Services (PMS).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex investment concepts to clients.
- Willingness to travel extensively outside Mumbai.
Job Roles and Responsibilities :- Business Development: Lead the development and implementation of strategic business development initiatives to drive sales of Portfolio Management Services (PMS).
- Client Acquisition: Identify and target prospective clients, including high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), family offices, and institutional investors, to expand the client base for PMS offerings.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their investment objectives and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our Portfolio Management Services (PMS) offerings, including investment strategies, performance metrics, and competitive positioning, to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.
- Market Research: Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in the equity and investment management space, providing insights and recommendations to enhance our PMS offerings.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including investment managers, research analysts, and marketing teams, to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior management to optimize sales strategies and drive business growth.
- Client Education: Conduct client seminars, webinars, and presentations to educate clients on the benefits and features of our Portfolio Management Services (PMS) offerings.
Qualification and Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA qualification preferred.
- Candidates holding NISM 5A and CFA certifications are preferred for the role
- Proven track record of 5-7 years in equity sales, with a focus on business development and client acquisition.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to interact confidently with high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) and institutional investors.
- Results-oriented mindset with a drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
