Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Must have Skills & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Business or a related field.
- An MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in selling polymers (PP, PVC, PE) and petrochemical products, preferably in an import-export trading environment.
- Strong network of import buyers and suppliers in the polymers/petrochemicals industry.
- In-depth understanding of the trade chain, including sourcing, logistics, and customs processes.
- Knowledge of competitors and market dynamics in the polymers/petrochemicals sector.
- Demonstrated ability to drive business growth through sales and business development.
- Experience in building and leading high-performing sales teams.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a proactive approach to work.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
