Role: Business Development Manager
Primary Function:
- Responsibility of Key Client account and all their projects in India
- Overseeing the projects through from inception, to an agreed stage of completion
- Proposal building, Bidding, Tendering, Estimation and Project Management
Duties & Responsibilities
- Project Management responsibility to ensure timely and cost effective project execution, inclusive of but not limited to: Operational, Technical and Logistical Support.
- Liaise with the Client to make sure project objectives are adhered to
- Participate in the intermediate negotiations and develop business/ customer relations
- Assisting the Purchasing Department in sourcing of goods and any queries arising from the supplier.
- Gather intelligence from market and through customer networking
- Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
- Preparing business and sales reports
- Marketing communication
- Keeping up to date with economic and business developments and overall business trends
- Attending workshops and trade fairs
- Identify & develop related and/or adjacent business opportunities
Prior work experience required
- Min - 4-5 yrs of Industry experience, particularly in Subsea / ROV segment
- Previous experience in Subsea/Offshore Projects and a proven track-record of Management in a similar role
- Desirable - Having served as shore manager or project manager for a leading ROV provider
Skills required
- Good market understanding of upstream Oil & Gas segment
- Knowledge of ROV, Diving, Deep-water Construction activities
- Flexible around relocation
- Good interpersonal & communication skills
- Good networking skills
- Tact and diplomacy
- A good grasp of numbers and the ability to write documents in a professional style
