The BDM has the ultimate responsibility for building and executing the sales strategy required to maximize revenue growth across the entire breadth of his/her territory and Account(s)
Job Description
- Achieve sales quotas
- Develop a sales strategy in the allocated sectors with a target prospect list
- Work on Acquiring new Accounts and up selling into existing Accounts. Understand the Business Drivers of the target sectors and map Global Space solutions to enhance business
- Identify Customer pain points and problems and propose appropriate solutions
- Work with Customers in building Case Studies & ROI to show the value of applying GLOBAL SPACE products and solutions
- Work with presales team in a Proactive mode in informing Customers about GLOBAL SPACE solutions
- Do Account Management
- Manage the assigned sector by providing sales call reports, sector analysis and accurate data within the sales and marketing database, accurate forecasting and sector insight
- Build a Database of prospects within the sectors- key Decision makers and then position appropriate solutions
- Be a trusted advisor to the customer by understanding their existing and future IT roadmap to drive assigned solutions
- Promote, develop prospects and grow customer satisfaction by establishing superior relationships
- Arrange and conduct product demonstrations and presentations in conjunction with Pre-Sales
Qualifications:
- Experience in Enterprise sales preferably in selling laptops, tablets and other hardware for business applications
- Proven and successful track record of continuously over achieving sales quota
- Prove successful track record of Account Management
- Have High level Contacts
- Good Knowledge and understanding of Software solutions
- Previous experience with selling security solutions will be an advantage
- Graduate Engineer/MBA from a university of repute
BE or MBA in marketing from a reputed institute
Minimum 6-10 years of work experience, preferably with telecom industry experience
Good coordination skills, Excellent communication skills & Excellent networking skills
