- Able to create, develop, capture and build market position in the defined logistics space.
- Build and Own the opportunity pipeline cycle through lead identifying, nurturing, negotiating, and closing.
- Own and respond timely to customer RFP / RFQ by coordinating and aligning the specificities and requirements with other functions internally.
- Strategic Account planning & management and new business development
- Developing new accounts and negotiating contracts; SLAs, integrating contract requirements with business operations and reviewing with other functions as needed.
- Develops and maintains healthy business relationships with customer organization and with counterparts.
- Develop marketing collateral, plan, organize, participate in events and trade shows promoting the company and generating new business.
- Planning and preparing presentations
- Communicating new product developments to prospective clients
- Overseeing the development of marketing literature
- Possess strong mentoring, negotiation, relationship management and interpersonal skills.
- Training and developing a highly result oriented team with in the territory and be able to take additional responsibilities that come along in a startup environment during the growth
- Responsible for communicating service level performance to client.
- Regular MIS reporting by vertical to customers and management
- Develop entry level staff into valuable sales people.
- You will be instrumental in devising and implementing the strategy for meeting sales performance targets
- Providing management with feedback.
- Responsible for heading up their expansion in new markets as well as continued expansion among existing clients
