Business Development Manager (IT Services)
- Identify potential opportunity/clients, generating the leads, understanding the requirements of the clients, providing an appropriate solution and closing the sales.
- Expert with business proposals, documents and required presentations
- Working with the business development manager and Service line leaders to identify gaps in business collaterals, to help the company to take the competitive advantage
- Ability to identify potential clients, generating the leads, manage existing customer relationships, understanding the requirements of the clients, providing an appropriate solution and closing the sales.
- Be trusted advisor for key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Build strong working relationships with Product Managers (Regional and Global) and vendors
- Oversee customer account management, including negotiating IT contracts and agreements
- Create strong relationships with regional / global community to maximize leverage of resources to support requirements.
- Manage assigned team members
- Achieve personal and team sales targets by developing new business with existing and potential clients.
- Funnel and CRM management
- Maintain relations with current clients, and leverage opportunities to cross sell and upset.
- Consistently meet agreed targets.
Qualification And Experience :
1. 8+ Years of solid sales/ business development experience in IT services, technologies and IT product sales.
2. Should understand customers' diverse, specific business needs and applying service offerings and associated knowledge to meet those needs.
3. Excellent account and service management skills & experience
4. Project management skills
5. Strategic thinker
6. Strong analytical skills
7. Commercial awareness
8. Effective communication skills / interpersonal understanding
9. Ability to influence and negotiate
10. Customer orientated
11. Able to take the initiative.
12. Strong business / commercial acumen.
13. Product and process know-how.
14. Negotiation & Presentation skills.
15. Proficient in documentation (PPT, MS Word, MS Excel and more).
16. Should have a pleasant personality, excellent team player with strong appreciation to cultural differences
17. Tech savvy and eagerness to adopt new technology and ideas.
