Manager - Business Development - IT Services
About the Role:

Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Growth:
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development plans aligned with company objectives and market trends.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and drive profitable growth within the IT services industry.
- Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to adjust strategies accordingly.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key clients, proactively understanding their needs and exceeding expectations.
- Lead successful contract negotiations to secure profitable agreements and ensure client satisfaction.
Business Expansion & Market Penetration:
- Spearhead the expansion of our client base by identifying and acquiring new clients in targeted markets and industries.
- Develop and execute innovative strategies to penetrate new markets and establish Afynd as a leading IT service provider.
- Leverage a multi-channel approach, including networking, cold calling, and relationship building, to generate high-quality leads.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals, providing guidance, support, and coaching to achieve team and departmental goals.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment, promoting knowledge sharing and teamwork.
Sales Pipeline Management & Revenue Generation:
- Effectively manage the sales pipeline to identify potential clients, nurture leads, and close deals.
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and contribute significantly to the company's revenue growth.
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies for maximum profitability.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and business development initiatives using CRM software.
- Prepare insightful reports and presentations for senior management, summarizing sales performance, forecasts, market trends, and client interactions.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, or a similar role within the IT services industry.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving significant business growth in a competitive B2B environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to business development.
- Strategic thinking and a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- In-depth understanding of market research methodologies, competitor analysis techniques, and current IT industry trends.
- Familiarity with digital marketing best practices and relevant tools for lead generation.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry professionals.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
- A strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
